Wow! Time Flies!

Not even sure where to start with this.... I guess, marriage has kept us very busy.  I can not believe that our last post was announcing that we got married.  Clearly we are horrible bloggers but with the beginning of the new year i felt the urge to try again.  Lets see... the last year and a half has been a whirlwind.  Had the most unbelievable wedding and honeymoon in Fiji.  Fiji was soon followed by an amazing pregnancy which ended much sooner than we expected.  At a whopping 4 lbs 9 oz Brayden Higgins Nadeau decided that he wanted to join us on February 7th.  The month of February was, lets just say, the hardest thing that either of us have ever done.  Living in a hospital on a cot and a recliner chair for 26 days with very little fresh air or sleep.  It was amazing, terrifying, exhausting, stressful and  Brayden was worth every second of it.  Bringing that cute little bundle of joy home after all those days was one of the happiest days of our lives.  We have learned so much and grown as a family in so many ways since that day.  Brayden is going to be a year old next month and i cant even begin to document all that has happened so,  as sad as it is,  we are going to have to start from here.  Hopefully once we get going with this blogging thing and get into a grove we can flashback to some of the memories of 2012.

So lets see what else has happened since we got married...oh...the house.  (that was sarcasm)  This house has absolutely consumed our lives.  We eat, breath and sleep the decisions of this house.  Our saving grace has been our little munchkin, Brayden.  No matter how stressed or crazy things are, just seeing his amazing little smile makes everything better.  The house is coming along, making forward progress with a very large number of bumps in the road.  I really feel that we are over the hump, however, every time I think this things somehow get crazier.  But this week I am really feeling that we have made it over the hump.  We should finally have electricity within a week, which is absolutely amazing.  The siding is underway and working on finishing up all the rough interior work.

Happy 2013, we are welcoming the new year with open arms and so excited for what lies ahead.

So many photos to post, heres a couple.
