First trip to the ZOO

We went to the Southwick Zoo on Friday, such a great time. It was Avereys second birthday and Courtney organized a fun day. Sean had the day off so he was able to join us on the play date. Brayden liked the animals, but he was more excited about the golf carts and stollers, he loves wheels!

Happy Easter!!

Our Easter weekend began by going to Red Apple Farm in Phillipston on saturday with Gramma to meet the Easter Bunny for the very first time.  Brayden was not very interested, but he was also able to see some baby pigs, bunnies and chicks which were pretty exciting.

First Time Sledding

First time sledding with Daddy, it was the coldest day of the year, but Daddy just had to get him out there.  He was so bundled he couldn't move at all!

So, I would have to say the first sledding experience was not a big hit, if not close to traumatic.  But Daddy, sure had a fun time and was full of smiles.

Brayden's First Birthday Party!!

 We were finally able to celebrate Brayden's first birthday after rescheduling the party because of the blizzard.   Brayden 'arrived' fashionably late to his party due to a very intense nap that his parents didn't have it in them to wake him.  He had a great time playing with the kids - Baelin, Jacob, Charlotte, Averey and Nolan.
 Thought the theme was fitting for two reason 1. Brayden absolutely loves anything on wheels and will push trucks around the house all day and 2. the entire first year of his life has been cluttered with the ongoing project of building his new house. He has spent many, many hours in the construction zone and has even had the chance to drive some of the heavy equipment with his dad and great grandfather.
